Dear all, As summer approaches, we would like to thank everyone who has engaged with Swedish Life Cycle Center during the spring. We are happy to share that we have been granted funding from Vinnova for a new project: Competence network and advisory from a life-cycle perspective. The project will support small and medium-sized enterprises in building knowledge and applying a life cycle perspective in practice.
Looking ahead, we are excited for an eventful autumn with new activities, continued conversations and our 30-year anniversary and Network Conference in November. We wish you all a relaxing summer and look forward to reconnecting after the break. Sincerely, Anna Wikström,
Sofia Jonson Veloso, Frida Røyne and Maria Rydberg, Technical Secretariat, Swedish Life Cycle Center |

Survey about AI based tools As a follow-up to the AI-workshop announced in the last Scientific Directions newsletter, researchers from RISE, Chalmers and three other organizations would like to invite you to take part in a survey conducted as part of the TRACE AI research project on AI-based tools for chemical information and assessment. The aim of the survey is to identify chemical-information needs, practical constraints, opportunities, risks and priorities of key stakeholders related to the development and use of AI-based tools for chemical information and assessment. The survey takes about 15 minutes and has been tailored for different types of organisations - pick only one!
Your responses will help guide the project’s research agenda and support the continued development of relevant and useful AI-based tools.

Collaboration opportunitiesSwedish Life Cycle Center plays an important role for all its actors within the Center to build networks, competence and influence future development. How the partnership is used is up to the partner. Partners value the direct contact to the network, research and high level discussions. Others are engaged in working groups that go in line with their organization’s agenda. And for some organizations, Swedish Life Cycle Center has been and is a key to their continuous work with life cycle related improvements and capacity building. The Center hosts a dialogue group with nine government agencies in Sweden, engages small and medium-sized companies through a letter of collaboration and enters into collaborative partnerships with other life cycle organizations at a global level. |
